Having gone from a size 22 to Irish Curvette of the Year 2008, Jean Kinsella embraced the power of change.

LOOKING HER AGE

At size 22 Jean Kinsella's dress size was gradually creeping up to match her age. She could never have imagined that just 18 months later she would be buying dresses five sizes smaller.

FIT TO CHANGE

Jean decided to join Curves when she became tired of continually worrying about her appearance and her health. Not knowing what to expect, she was surprised to find out how much she enjoyed her 30 minute workout three times a week, and also how quickly she stepped up the challenge and increased her fitness. As she puts it; "It's not like I'm killing myself!"

CONFIDENCE BOOSTER

As the weight dropped off and Jean toned up, a more confident personality began to emerge;
"I have lots more confidence, feel younger, and have much more energy!"
These visible changes also encouraged Jean to embrace a healthier diet;
"I have replaced coffee with water and always try to go for the healthier option".

TOP FORM WITH CURVES

When asked how her journey to better health and fitness with Curves has changed her life, Jean says that the benefits have been huge, even her mood is better, as she puts it – "I'm always in good form!". She goes on to very simply sum it up as "the best thing that I have done for myself in years".
